Workspaces

A workspace is a separate space for one team, business unit or environment. Everything you create belongs to exactly one workspace:

  • Agents, their versions, skills, tools, MCP servers and knowledge bases
  • Conversations, sensitive data findings and the access log
  • Settings and provider keys, integration keys, single sign-on and budgets
  • Members and roles

Nothing is shared between workspaces. An agent in one workspace can’t use another workspace’s knowledge base, and a key saved in one workspace isn’t available in another. The server enforces this on every request. See Workspace isolation.

If you belong to more than one workspace, the workspace switcher at the top of the sidebar shows the current workspace and your role in it. Open it to switch. What you see and can do changes with the workspace, because your role can be different in each.

Workspaces are created by VirtuAI platform administrators. Whoever creates a workspace becomes its owner and gets the admin role in it. The owner then invites the rest of the team from Users. See Users and roles.

To get a new workspace, contact support. A common setup is one workspace for testing and one for production, so agents, keys and conversations stay apart.

The workspace owner can’t be removed from the workspace.

If your employee web chat is published behind Google Cloud Identity-Aware Proxy, each workspace has a list of email domains whose IAP-authenticated users may use its web chat. Platform administrators set it under Workspaces, in the row’s IAP / Web Chat Access panel. An empty list turns IAP access off for that workspace.

To close a workspace or have its data deleted, contact support.
